No longer getting SMS or Whats app notifications

Hi - my fit bit app auto upgraded 2 days ago and now I have lost the functionality to be able to get notified on my fitbit of SMS messages and Whats app messages. When will this functionality be returned? The new notification settings are useless.

Why did you break something that was a really good feature and take it away from users?

Sad to hear that you're having issues receiving notifications on your Charge 5. Please check if notifications for Messages and WhatsApp are enabled. To do so, first tap on your profile picture in the upper left corner of your Fitbit app's Today page. The tap the Charge 5 tile to get to your device's settings. Next tap Notifications to check if Messages and WhatsApp notifications are enabled.

Ok so since the app update where are those option you have stated?

The things is there is no way of enabling them.

Those settings are fine.

The issue is that the ability to receive notifications from other applications has been removed from the latest Fitbit app.

The Notofications no longer exist in the old format. This worked until 2 days ago when my Fitbit app self updated.

As I'm running the latest Fitbit app version on Android without any issues concerning managing notifications, your issue must be iOS specific, @JenWB. Please check this thread and follow what @MarcoGFitbit has posted as a very likely solution to your issue:
