My Charge 5 display no longer works regularly and the battery drains from 100% to 27% daily. It still tracks my steps and such but is no longer useful for anything else that requires the screen to come on.
Not sure what is going on. Says it is up to date

My screen is blank. First I was getting add a card screen repeatedly. Then rapid battery draining. Now blank screen. I tried all the restart steps repeatedly. Sometimes, it starts working again temporarily. Charge % varies each time. It worked fine for 1 year and now I see other posts on here describing same behavior. I also set clock face back to default -didnt help.

I’m having the same problem as Cherbear1556, started yesterday. Blank face on Charge 5. Not responsive. My charger doesn’t have a button that I can see, so I don’t know how to do the pulse reset.
-------------
Oops. I was looking at the wrong end of the charger. Found the button, performed the 3-pulse reset, and it worked. Thanks!

Similar issue happened to me a few days ago
My fitbit charge 5 display went black but it still keeps track of my steps and heart rate.
I was able to bring my screen back on after doing a software update, but now my battery dies in one day. It used to hold 7 days..
