My Fitbit Charge 5 will not notify me of texts, etc. DND & sleep mode are off. The device is paired. When I tried the find phone feature that worked. What am I doing wrong?

I appreciate the information provided about this issue with your Charge 5 and for confirming that you already tried a few troubleshooting steps.
To check if your device is paired to your account, could you please go to your dashboard > Tap on your profile picture > Check if the Charge 5 appears listed. In the meantime, make sure to follow all the steps listed here to resolve problems with notifications, as this has been useful for other users experiencing the same problem.
In addition to checking the Do Not Disturb Mode and Sleep Mode are off, make sure that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app installed and to check all the compatibility requirements here.
