No posibility to approve Microsoft Authenticator MFA requests directly on the Charge 5 anymore

I've been a proud owner of a charge 5 for several months already. I used to be able to directly approve Microsoft Authenticator MFA request notifications by pushing the button 'approve' on the charge 5 itself, instead of the tedious process of opening the MS Authenticator app on my Samsung Galaxy S20 and approving it over there. Since 2 weeks, the notifications still come in on the Charge 5, but I only have the button to have the approval request opened on my smartphone, there's no 'approve' button on the tracker itself anymore.

1) Did anyone experience this change in behaviour as well?

2) Did something change at Microsoft side, f.i. not allowing charge 5 as an Authenticator-compliant device anymore?

3) Did something change at Fitbit side, and for what reason would this functionality be removed?
