Not a fan of the clock faces choices for Charge 5

When my charge 4 broke (handle on the top side), I went on fitbit.com to buy a new one. I was disappointed to see that the charge4 was no longer available. I loved the sharpness of the screen. I ordered a 5 and just received it.

Yes it is in color, but I like NONE of the choices the 5 has for clock faces! I only wish the standard analog clock in black and white would be available, or something similar. Seems to me that all these new clock faces were designed by teenagers for teenagers.

Guys, update your marketing strategy: you are selling to people of all ages that love(d) your products until now. Flashy colors don't necessarily fare well with older folks like me. I had fitbits since the very first version, but this one makes we want to explore other brands.

Hello @JeanR505 and welcome to the Community. I'm with you on the clock face choices.  My first thought was that they were designed by people most likely to fail a drug test. 😉

Hi @LZeeW  - isn't the idea is to choose the clock faces you like, not the ones you don't like.

Different people have different needs.

I set up my Charge 2 to show date, time, step count and heart rate. With one tap I could see active minutes and floors. And one more tap to see hours with 250+ steps and calories. With the Charge 5 clock faces, the best I can do is cycle through each of these one at a time. That's a downgrade in my opinion.

These watch faces need to have more flexibility. I want time, date, steps, and heart rate, but the closest is Slash that does time, date, and HR, and then changes out AZM, Steps, Calories, and Distance. It doesn't seem very user friendly.

Your explanation sounds better than mine. Right now I use the default clock face, and I agree that the colors are great, but if only we can change them...

I support Ukraine, but I'd like at some point in time to  be able to change to red, white and blue (or bleu, blanc rouge for the French flag).

I wonder if Fitbit will change the color themes based on how some teenager who failed the drug tests felt that day.

I fully agree. I like the colors, I just would like more flexibility in changing them, and I still insist on my old analog clock face. I would concede to colors.

I received my Charge 5 yesterday. Glad you see the option to change the clock face. All I see is  "Oops, looks like there's no Internet connection."

Hi @NotHappy2Day - this is a phone issue of security software or settings of some sort, see No internet connection to resolve it.
