Not syncing all metrics, even after restarting Charge 5

My Fitbit wasn't syncing and it was lagging this morning. I have restarted, it now will only sync up steps and battery %, but no other metrics I track. I have tried chat support, but that isn't working. Can someone please help me?

I appreciate all the information that you've shared about the difficulty you're experiencing with your Charge 5 and the troubleshooting steps that you already tried.

In addition to the restart procedure that you already tried, keep in mind that you need to sync through the Fitbit app and not through the Bluetooth settings on your phone. If you're still having trouble to sync any information, please let me know if you already tried all the steps listed here to resolve syncing problems, and make sure to check the compatibility requirements listed here and to keep the Fitbit app updated to the latest version available. 

In case the problem is related to the Fitbit app not showing all your information, please try the following: 

  • Log out from the app.
  • Clear Cache for the Fitbit app on your phone's settings (Settings > Apps > Fitbit app > Storage > Clear cache)
  • Restart your phone. 
  • Log back in to check if you're able to see your information.
  • Try to set up your Charge 5 as a new device in your account if you're still having the same problem.
