I've tried absolutely everything mentioned and I've read lots. I've updated the app, turned off/on bluetooth to everything, double/triple checked all settings on phone and fitbit app, removed the app from my phone & reinstalled but still don't get notifications of text & calls. I used to get them no problem, didn't change anything but it just stopped working. It's the only reason I wear this device. Is there possibly any other suggestions or is the device now scrap?

Best Answer"Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings." Are you mad? Why don't you suggest he get a new phone and a new Fitbit. Move no settings or data to the new phone. Open a new Fitbit account. Then simply start your life over again. Perhaps removing all electronic devices for a 5mi/8km radius would help as well, your neighbors won't mind.
I know you opened a can and found this reply. Don't go back to that shelf of can goods again. I think those cans have gone bad.
