Once the Desktop Dashboard Goes Away, Then What?

I have the app on my iPhone, but now that I can't edit workouts from generic "workout" to the specific activity (for example, dancing) in that app, I have to do it in the desktop dashboard. Once the desktop dashboard option goes away, then what? Will I just never be able to log all the activities I do that don't fit one of the preprogrammed options?

Hi, @Holleranatyou , this is exactly one of my concerns and I will hopefully try to get some answers from Google.  Once we know the exact timetable of this change we can see what we need to do to make sure that a wide range of activities can still be logged.  Please do continue to post with specific issues on this change once it is implemented to make sure that previously enjoyed full functionality will continue to be enjoyed!

Custom foods also required the desktop to set up - there was no way to add ingredients to a meal on my phone, I had to build it on the desktop and then (if for some reason I was not at my PC) later add it on my phone.

About 90% of my entries are done via the desktop - this change makes Fitbit an effectively useless service for my tracking needs.

I missed the notice about the dashboard going away (I think I may have deleted it without opening it) Why? Like the rest of you there are things that are easier to do on the computer then on my phone.
