Do I have to pay fo r premium if my charge 5 has an app for it?

Hi, @Lynda1954 the Charge 5 comes with a six month free trial.  After that it is a paid for service.

How do I subscribe to the 6 months free premium?  I had a charge 2 and got the charge 5 for Christmas so I already had the app installed. Also I am not getting notifications on my charge 5 and can't figure that out.

You don’t have to sign up for Premium if you don’t want it.  I haven’t  done the free trial yet myself.

If you do want to try it out. This is how to do it. Tap on the Premium place with a dotted arrow next to it in the bottom right corner of the Today Screen in your App.  Then tap on Subscribe and it will show you payment options.

You need to give credit card details or some other method of payment to get it, but the first 6 months is free.  If you don’t want to pay in the future, you have to remember to cancel it before the end so you’re not charged at all.

As for notifications, you can set those up in the App.  From the Today page, tap your profile picture, then Charge 5.  Then tap on Notifications, decide what you want to turn on and follow the instructions from there.  I don’t use them myself so can’t give you very specific advice.
