I would try restarting your Charge 5. You won’t lose any data doing so. Since your Fitbit is unresponsive place your Charge 5 on its charger and then press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times pausing for 1 second between presses. (View image below) Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.
Hopefully that will resolve the problem. 😃 Please let me know how it goes
