Well I am now experiencing my 3rd time in 4 years where my Fitbit has become defective after only about 1 year of use requiring a replacement. Last year I purchased the 2 yr extended plan (which I never did in the past) because clearly the Fitbit product is apparently inferior. Like clockwork, 1 year later the battery has failed again and I needed a replacement. After DAYS of support calls and (literally) hours on the phone with support, to include sending pictures of my device, as well as packaging and return shipping the defective unit back to Fitbit, I now find myself at a dead end, being told that there are no CHARGE 5 (any color) in stock available for a replacement until approximately 30 days out. Literally ZERO available I am told. This was only after disputing the "Standard vs expedited" shipping that was promised by CSR#1, yet told something different by CSR#2. There was no alternative offer by Fitbit to help the situation either. Not a temporary loaner, nor an offer of an upsell (or downsell), nothing. SORRY CHARLIE! After hours of wasted time on customer service calls, I am now forced to just wait until the CHARGE 5 comes back in stock. Sadly, this is the end of the road for me and Fitbit. Assuming the replacement unit ever makes it to me at this point, this will be my last Fitbit. At least in the past, the replacement unit's were expedited (overnight) to me for the prior defective units, which at least made dealing with the inferior hardware (somewhat) tolerable. In fact I had better support experiences WITHOUT the 2yr extended service. This time it's fair to say that the absolute horrendous customer service and support is the single driving factor of me walking away. Fitbit is losing a long standing customer due to shear lack of service and support. How awful! Cheers.

have tried customer service Chat and does not seem to work...posted a few comment on the Twitter customer service link...don't really expect results.
My Fitbit 5 died again.....less than a year after getting replacement.....quite syncing....won't reset...etc.......
