Um, what button? I put my Charge 5 in swim mode, and after swimming (yes, it got wet) I double tapped the screen -- the Firbit logo flashed, then disappeared. Now it seems will wake it. Your message recommends "a double tap of the BUTTON." Does a Charge 5 have a button?

The charge 5 has a color display, and a button on its charger. For both I would try a restart 

How do I restart my Fitbit device?
