Red circle and white cross, updated and fixed, then black screen won’t charge

completed all the steps from the community post
Charge 5 black screen with red circle and white cross march 17, 23

and the Fitbit restarted; it died half a day later. Black screen, when connecting to the charger it doesn’t vibrate but is warm to the touch. Hitting the restart button three times does nothing. It’s been dead on the charger for over a day. Phone Bluetooth/Fitbit app cannot locate it.

Thank you for all the details provided about this inconvenience with the Charge 5 and the steps that you already tried. 

In addition to the three pulse restart you mentioned, could you please confirm if you've also followed all the recommendations listed in this article in case it's a problem related to the battery?

Yes, in addition to the 3 pulse start I completed each step for Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

I've proceeded to send your information to the Customer Support team for further assistance with this, but it seems that you already got in touch with them and they've provided you with some instructions. In this case, they will let you know how to proceed.
