Red light on back of Charge 5

ANSWERED

Hello. I've read so many messages about Charge 5 not working over the past week, many of the issues I'm experiencing as well, with no solutions after trying multiple restarts and incessant charging of the battery.  Does anyone know what a red light shining on the back of the Charge 5 means?

Thank you for the info, it's really weird that it is coming on while I'm not even wearing the Fitbit, and I'm definitely not sleeping. Just more evidence of things not being right, I guess. Thanks, again.

Hello @Mo311

The red light on the back of the Charge 5 is the oxygen saturation / SpO2 sensor. Usually, it doesn't turn on until you are sleeping.

Hello @Mo311

I would be concerned that having the sensor stay on when you're not sleeping is draining your device's battery.

You might want to reach out to Support (<-- click link) about the constant red light. Complete the prompts until you get the option to chat or call.
