I've just got one of these things, and my resting heart rate has been calculated as between 55 and 60 all week. But I have never once looked at the watch and seen my heart rate that low. It's generally somewhere between 70 and 90 whenever I actually check it. What gives?
I'm also a bit at a loss for what a "cardio fitness score" is. I've only been on one run since I got the watch, is that going to actually be accurate at this point?

Hi, it's good to see you visiting the community forums for the first time, @gabbar08.
To ensure that your device is tracking information as accurately as possible, please try adjusting the position of the device on your wrist following the recommendations listed in this article. You can find some additional steps and recommendations about factors that can affect your heart rate data here.
In addition and as a first steps, I would also try restarting your Charge 5 using the charging cable and then check if you continue to experience any abnormal behavior. Let me know how it goes.
The cardio fitness score that you mentioned is a measure of your aerobic fitness, it is determined by your resting heart rate, age, sex, weight, and other personal information. The higher the score, the more fit you are.
You can find more information about this metric here as well.

Hello & welcome @gabbar08
Fitbit defines resting heart rate as: the number of times your heart beats per minute when you’re still and well-rested. Typically, resting heart rate ranges from 60-100 bpm, but the rate can vary based on age and fitness level.
Unless I've been sitting quietly for an extended period of time, like when I'm reading or watching videos, like you've noticed, I rarely see my heart rate at the resting rate on my Charge 5 during the day.

BTW, your heart rate of 55 - 60 sure seems to indicate to me that you're at a good fitness level.
