So I gallop racehorses every morning 7 days a week and just got the Fitbit charge 5 and wore it this morning to ride, it tracked over 20,000 steps mostly all from the horses I was riding and their steps, not mine. How do I change this? There is nothing under the exercise tab on the app to add a new activity such as horseback riding or whatever. The watch seems useless if it’s only tracking the steps my horses take while I ride, it mixes up my steps and theirs.

Hello @electraboone
I just had a quick check and there is a possible workaround. You can add the generic Workout Exercise Shortcut to your Charge 5, by deleting one you don’t use and adding it.
Before you start riding, press Start and Stop when you finish.
When you go into the App later, you can tap on that exercise, then the arrow on the right to Categorize Exercise. From the drop down menu you can choose Horseback Riding. If you want to edit the time, you can also do that by tapping on the 3 dots at the top right. I’m not 100% sure but you might be able to edit the steps too.
I hope that helps a bit.

So I actually tried that and it didn’t work. I’m really disappointed they wouldn’t think that riding horses is an option for athletic people lol. I can’t even wear the watch at work now

Hello again @electraboone ,
I'm really sorry to hear that!
I remembered something else that may or may not help in your situation. It's even more random, but...
If you categorize your 'Workout' as Drive instead, you're able to edit the steps etc.
Also I think it would be a really good idea to make a feature suggestion for Horse Riding as you can't be the only person affected.
Here's a link to it:
Feature Suggestions for Trackers
Good luck!
