I rollerskate/skeeler a lot outdoors. With me, thousands of other people.
So far I have been using the running mode to record my rollerskating trainings, but I guess that totally messes with the step distance of running.
Cycling is definitely not an option because I cycle a lot and do not want to mix up trainings.
So in my opinion; a rollerskating mode is needed

Hi, @hoebe , the simplest way of recording your roller skating activity is to use the “outdoor workout” mode. That has the advantage of using GPS so you can get a map and more precise distance.
If you don’t care about GPS, you could instead track it as workout. Workout is different from the other exercise modes on Fitbit, because it is designed so that you can rename it. Once your Charge 5 has synced you will see “workout” on your exercise page in the app. Click on “workout”. If you are using iOS you will see “categorise exercise” click on that and begin typing Roller skating in the search box. Because roller skating is already built in to the Fitbit database you can simply choose that and your workout will now be correctly labelled and all your stats will be there. If you are on Android it is similar: click on the pencil icon, type roller skating in the box and then “log it”. Your activity will be correctly labelled.
I hope this helps.
