Hallo,
I have a fitbit charge 5 and I am quite happy with it when I go for a run. I am not a professional and just go for a (half) hour run in the park. This means that minutes per km is not helpful to me and I would like to change this to display the speed in km/h. When I have finished the run I have to go to a special website that calculates the speed to km/h which feels kind of weird. Would it be possible to change this in settings somewhere?

No, there is no way to do it.

@t.parkerthank you for your quick reply, even tough it was not what I expected. I am somewhat in shock. A watch that promotes itself as being good for sports not having this option. I'm not an IT person but this should be quite easily programmable and I assume make quite a lot of people happy.

@thatslife I wouldn't call any Fitbit watch a sports watch. This part of functionality has been neglected by Fitbit for years and even with the recent addition of new sports modes (Sense 2 and Versa 4 only), it's just a minor improvement (just more labels). Most of the runners use pace not speed, although that should be optional to decide (like on Garmin) and if a user wants to use a different metric it should be there. On the other hand, the pace is mostly useless for people who walk, yet speed isn't available for Walk activity either. Walk activity shows pace instead. Fitbit is probably somewhere at the bottom when it comes to sports tracking functionality.

@t.parkerI'm with you that Fitbit is not a sportwatch. But then again Fitbit focuses on people that would like to engage in a better lifestyle and being more acctive. Let's say recreational and beginner sporters. Especially these people would focus on km/h and not pace. The more serious runners will probably go get one of the Garmins etc.
Hopefully somebody of Fitbit will be reading these comments and take half an hour to program the option.
