Second FITBIT to die in less than 6 months

My Charge 5 broke in January on vacation. I went through all the hoops and a replacement was sent to me which looked refurbished (no packaging). It worked for less than 6 months then started to lose a charge very quickly. It just "went black" and when I tried to charge it the last time the logo just flashed and it vibrated at me annoyingly. I looked at the forums and did exactly what the folks here said to do but it didn't work.

I called and got someone in another country that says they will email me about a warranty after he can't fix it over the phone - but he can't understand what I say since english is his second language. I never receive an email.

There is no way to email FITBIT

So not spending anymore MONEY or TIME on a product that is substandard. I am not surprised that FITBIT doesn't have an email since FITBIT doesn't want folks contacting them about all the problems with their product.

fitbit loyal since 2015... not anymore

Have has multiple generations of Fitbits and loved them all

My Charge 5 died after fewer than ten months after purchasing it on Amaon.  After >3 hours on four chats, I was told that someone would get back to me by email.

They told me that it was defective and could not be replaced under warranty because I purchased from an UNAUTHORIZED RESELLER !!!  They then had the gall to send me a list of authorized reseller that INCLUDED AMAZON.

What an excuse to ripoff a previously satisfied customer for more than ten years

Pathetic response to a formerly supportive customer

BEWARE

Sorry, sounds like we are in the same boat...As you probably saw I was pretty into the product up until now. Too much to pay for something that doesn't last more than 6 months...
