Setting and tracking calorie/nutrition goals like in MFP?

I just got a Charge 5 and I've been using MyFitnessPal to log my calorie/nutrition intake. In MFP, you simply set your weight goal and, based on your physical profile (age, height, gender, etc), it is able to give you a daily calorie goal along with nutritional goals (daily protein goal, etc).

However, Fitbit does not seem to have this feature. I inputted my weight/body fat percentage goal and the food log does seem to have any daily calorie goal based on my inputs. There also doesn't seem to be other daily nutritional goals I can use to track against. It's just an overall calorie reading.

1. Does the Fitbit app not automatically generate calorie/nutritional goals based on your profile and desired weight/body fat percentage goals?

2. Is there no breakdown of daily nutrition goals like in MFP (Total / Goal / Left)? I just want to be able to track my calorie/nutrition intake against my daily goal at a detailed level (both overall calorie intake and the breakdown by nutrients).

Feedback appreciated.

Hello @alexMKC

I personally don’t know about these things but it might be worth posting in the Healthy Eating or Manage Weight boards instead as people there are more likely to know the answers.

I hope that helps a bit.
