Short Life Fitbit

Why do Fitbits last less than a year? This is a genuine question. This is my third short life Fitbit! I have seen long term users ask questions and the moderators ask if they have followed the steps. There are more than a few intelligent people on here that do the right thing. I wish they would put the solution to people’s problems on here so we can also follow!!

Hi, @grmb , I have Fitbit that I bought more than 6 years ago that is still working (and it has been through the washing machine!). I have only had one Fitbit that lasted less than two years (it lasted only a month or so and Fitbit replaced it).

Having said that, people’s experience does vary for lots of reasons, especially depending in many cases on charging regimen.  Frequently allowing deep discharges can quickly degrade the performance of your device!
