no. mine died after just 1.5 years. Customer service not helping. Probably changing brands.

No, I don’t recommend it. Doesn’t hold a charge at all, the bands are terrible. I’ve had different FitBit devices and this is the worst.

Don't buy the Charge 5. Terrible experience and I've had a Fitbit account with many Fitbit trackers for over 8 years.

Mine is now black and the battery is draining. Needs a daily charge. Suggestions haven't helped and pee chats, customer service isn't helpful.

A system update is bricking Charge 5's, mine was bricked last week. It appears Fitbit (Google) is stonewalling on correcting the issue, as it's been ongoing for over 2 months. And they continue to allow the update to roll out. I really like the Fitbit App (have been using Fitbit for about 3 years now) but will not be further supporting a company that apparently does not care about their customers.

Hello & welcome @VirginiaK23

According to the tech sites rumor mill, it looks like the Charge 6 release date could be announced on Sep 28. I think the Charge 6 could be available for purchase at the same time as the Pixel 8 phones and Pixel Watch 2, which would be in Oct. It might be worth waiting a few more days for the announcement.

Hey, thank you so much for your reply, really appreciate it. I think I'll buy the fitbit luxe as its compact and does the things I need/want. Hopefully there won't be issues with it, I've seen less drama about this particular model. Thanks again for your advice.

Thank you for your message, I've seen so many complaints of this happening, so shocking. I'm also seeing alot of posts about the fitbit themselves not lasting very long and typically just outside of warrenty. What has happened to fitbit! Google takeover?

So frustrating! It's all gone down hill.

Thank you for your message
