Shutdown Charge 5

Is there a way to shutdown the Charge 5?

I would like to turn it off completely so I can let it sit unused for a week or two and hopefully not have the battery drain completely.

If I let it sit for a couple weeks, I would expect the battery to drain completely. Will I be able to connect the charger, charge the battery, and bring it back to life?

Some fitbits have a shutdown option, but not the Charge 5. See: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1257.htm?Highlight=shutdown

Recharging from flat will work although it may take a few minutes for it to show any signs of life.
