I’m thinking of updating from the Inspire HR to the Charge 5 and hoping that a stainless steel mesh band will be released like the one for the my current Inspire HR - this will really impact on my decision to upgrade

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @Cheska25.
Thank you for your inquiry about the new Charge 5.
Unfortunately it wouldn't be possible to confirm at this moment if the Stainless Steel Mesh band will be available for the Charge 5. Currently the wristbands are available in different colors, but only Classic bands, Sport bands, a Leather band and a Hook &Loop band. You can find all the accessories as well as other important details about specs and features here.
However, I do recommend that you post this idea (Stainless Steel Mesh band for Charge 5) in the Feature Suggestion board of the Community, since this section is regularly monitored by the team of developers. Make sure to post your idea including as many details as possible.
Have a great day!

If it’s like other Fitbit models have been, you’ll be able to find a metal mesh band on Amazon shortly after the Charge 5 is released.

I wish they had some now, only ones I can find are the sports ones with the holes in the watch band. I need the cloth ones..but don’t want to pay out the rear for it.

@SleepyxEquus @radesix Thank you for sharing all your feedback.
Usually there are a few wristband options that are released over time with each smartwatch. I hope too that we can have some extra options in the future. Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback.
Have a great day.

There is now one available on Amazon, and I did just order it - but it's very inexpensive and there are several reviews stating that it won't stay attached to the device. It has a magnetic closure and I figured that would be the part that failed, but no - they're talking about where it clips to the Fitbit. I came here hoping that Fitbit made their own. Guess I'll have to wait a bit...

I bought a Charge 5 and have very sensitive skin. The mesh band is the only one that doesnt bother me... I am really hoping they come out with one because I'm tempted to throw my Charge 2 back on..

They don’t but cheaper make wristbands are available for the Charge 5. The wristband has given many people sores with red and blistered skin, myself included so I’m having to buy a different band anyway. I’ve had two previous Fitbits and never had a problem before the Charge 5. I’ve. Reported it and am awaiting a reply.

Stay away from the Vancle band on amazon. It literally broke my Fitbit. Then I read other reviews, the same band had the same issues: one side attached and would not come off,the other side wouldn’t connect at all. So, you can’t use it because you can’t remove it on one side and can’t connect it on the other! DISASTER. I want a mesh band too, they are the only truly comfortable, flexible, breathable band that also looks good. I really wish Fitbit would make one so we didn’t have to take chances with 3rd party questionable junk.
