Suddenly stopped working and wont hold charge

I have had my Fitbit since September and has worked fine until last night when all of a sudden it won’t work and doeant hold  charge. I have charged it for several hours at a time and now rebooted it but it loses the charge within minutes if it even turns on   .. not sure what happened last night to change it. Please help. Thank you

This just started happening to my Fitbit Charge 5 after upgrading to the new firmware update this week.
