Swimming tracker is not accurate

Often when I am swimming in a 25metre pool, the tracker will tell me that I have swum 825 metres.  This is not accurate because I always finish where I started so that I can access the ramp for disabled people.  So, I could have only swum 800 or 850 metres.  The last time I swam in the 50 metre pool, the tracker registered 1375 metres.  I could have only swum 1300 or 1400 metres.  Sometimes I keep count of my laps and my reckoning is often 100 metres different to the tracker.  Do other people have this issue?

Hi, @PsychoPete , welcome to the community, I'm a daily swimmer and find occasionally the lap count is wrong by one length. It's correct more often than not. You might be interested in this article How do I track my swims with my Fitbit device? in the third section from the end, there is an explanation of the issues that might cause inaccuracies. I know it can be a little irritating when the data recorded is slightly out, you might find a way forward in this article How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?
