TCX file for treadmill run contains almost no information

I have a Charge 5 and just tried it on the treadmill with the appropriate exercise.

 

When I look at the report in the list of exercises I can see the graph of calories burned and the heart rate.

 

But when I download the TCX file it is a shell with no details.  No calories or heart rate points 

 

Is this to be expected?

Yes. Only (some) GPS activities generate TCX files.
