Not a single Fit**ahem** owner in this community has much if anything good to say about the Charge 5. I am a firm believer in that they are all 100% correct. You people who are supposed to support this gigantic group of garbage owners don't do a **ahem** thing about improving a single aspect of these devices. How can anyone continue to sell and back such junk??!!! I go out of my way to shout it out at the top of every mountain, to "NOT BUY ANY FITBIT PRODUCTS!!! THEY DO NOT WORK!!!"

Amen! I found their Facebook page and have started commenting how horrible their new app is for the Fitbit 5 . Not sure it will get any traction, but it gives me some place to vent because I’m so angry about the changes and loss of features!

Welcome back to the Fitbit community, @Richiescal!
Sad to hear about your impressions regarding the Charge 5. As much as I understand your disappointment if you are one of those who had bad luck with this device, I'd like to point out that community forums like this one are to be considered hospitals. None of those millions Charge 5 users who don't have issues will spend their time posting just how wonderful and flawless their devices work. And that not only goes for Fitbit but for other manufacturers as well.
We mustn't forget that they all still put their trousers on one leg at a time.

Don't count half the steps either. Not any better than the older ones. Not the slightest improvement. No more for me.

You sir, are a pretender. You like for people to think that there's a "Fitbit Community Council" and that you're running things. The people who ought to be resolving a wave of faults (which occurred in recent months) are not here, not fixing things and not helping.
You're sad to hear? You talk like an AI program. Take your platitudes and go for a long walk off a short pier.
Most people shift to buying another brand and start badmouthing the faulty one. Guess who gets burned Talahthas? Not you, because you're just a wierdo talking like you're in charge on a forum. And the word "mustn't" hasn't been in common parlance since before Tolkein.
If an actual Fitbit employee recognised the magnitude of the problem and ADMITTED to it, and steps to remedy that did not include grotesque insults like a discount on staying a fan in the fanbase, people would be better off. So, Talawhatever, leave people in here alone, OK? You're not Fitbit.
*do as I did. Leave my Fitbit waiting for a resolution and get something good. This forum is an empty chamber with hollow voices in it*

Seriously that is the councils response? You took the product backwards. It is an atrocious color… looks to be designed by a 3 year old… and took away key features that users loved and came to rely on. “ One trouser at a time.” Give me a break. You are insulting and denying the simple fact that Google released a product to the general public that was not ready and will lose many longtime users o Apple and Garmin. Take that message to your useless council and save the platitudes.

I agree, and since Google took over, the customer service has really gone downhill. I have been waiting for a replacement Chrg 5 since the end of Oct. Still don't have it, mine was under warranty. Keep getting excuse after excuse as to where it is. Always days away from being shipped.
