Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @TimW1.

Thank you for sharing that you've been experiencing this inconvenience with your Health Metrics tile.

Keep in mind that the Health Metrics tile are not available in all regions. To check if the tile is available in your region, see the health metrics page on the Fitbit website. As you mentioned earlier, although most of the information requires a Premium subscription, you can still find basic information about these metrics without a Premium subscription in the Fitbit app.

If you're still having trouble with the app not showing you the tile, please try to:

  • Log out from the app.
  • Clear Cache for the Fitbit app on your phone's settings (Settings > Apps > Fitbit app > Storage > Clear cache)
  • Restart your phone.
  • Log back in to check if you're able to see the tile.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the app, as this has been useful for other users experiencing something similar.
  • Try to set up your Charge 5 as a new device in your account if you're still having the same problem.

I'll be around.

Did you use the same account?

Can you see other history on phone app, such as steps?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

For the record I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the app
Same thing - all other stats are there
Health Metrics, nowhere - they were fine with the Charge 4
Gone with the Wind - or should I say Gone with Charge 5 😲 ?

---------------

This is still happening
Is there any option for us to submit logs, or anything else?
I do not see anything posted in the beta.fitbit.com either
I have updated my beta tester profile
Please consider testing newer platforms like foldables
There are issues with your implementation
Thank you

I think that you need a few days of using a new Fitbit device before the health metrics starts to show up in the app.

Best Answer

How many days? I’ve had mine for almost a week and still no health metrics tile. I switched from the inspire hr to the charge 5. I shouldn’t have to activate premium to just get the tile itself right? I’m using the iPhone app.

Best Answer

I am a premium user, and the Health Metrics vanished when I activated the Charge 5.
They were all there when the Charge 4 was active. The moment that was deactivated, they were gone, poof!
It's been 7 days now, and health metrics are nowhere to be found.

What is the point of subscribing to the Premium option, if we are not able to use what is offered?

Best Answer

Sounds like you're going to have to call into them to get it straightened out.

Best Answer

Yea, I tried their chat support and it was less than helpful.

Best Answer

I have only used their chat once to cancel the premium membership and it went fine so can't really say about support on technical issues. I'm still on the charge 4 and I don't think I will be sticking with Fitbit for my next tracker after reading the issues users are having with the 5.

Have you tried to open app on android and there is edit button on top of the screen right from TODAY.

Can you see Health Metrics menu with options to add?

I actually just tried this today on a google pixel 3. Logged in and paired with that phone. Still no health metrics show up. Nothing to select when I click on the edit mode as all the tiles available have been added.

Best Answer

Oh the Health Metrics are there
But the screens are blank - Only Day and Week 'pills' appear and then nothing underneath them
It's been a week and 2 Fitbit app updates, sill zilch, nada. 😞

@ShelleyFlies That is exactly what my issue is as well.
Why are we not getting any response from fitbit?
Oh that's right, it is not important.

We can even request for a dark mode for 6 years, and nothing will happen

I just got an email from Fitbit support stating the charge now needs a premium membership to get the tile and any information at all.

This doesn't seem like it makes sense to block the basic features like HRV that's on every other device for free but it's not available on the charge 5 because the health metrics are now all behind a paywall.

I would really like this decision reversed, I think this is just a slap in the face to your customers.  The larger problem I have is also I don't want to try Fitbit premium until all the advertised services are running, such as the readiness score and ECG features.

Just a heads up for anyone buying.

I was given this information by Fitbits higher level support through email. If this is incorrect, I would like to have it cleared up. As I and many others still do not have access to the health metrics tile and basic information.
