The band keeps falling off my new Charge 5

Yes, I have have read the board and the solved answer posted here about bands falling off has not address my concern.

 

Got this new fitbit Charge 5 for a Christmas present and doesn't matter what band I use, the band will pull off right after I have "clicked the band in" or even worst few hours or days later.  I have already lost it and had to drive back to 6 stores, I visited to find it.  Luckily enough, I was able to use the fitbit app on my phone to track an area it was in and then find it.

 

So the question is as follows; What can be done to fix this?  Is it a major design flaw and makes the tracker not able to use?  The answer given that just make sure it clicks on is good, however does not address my problem with the one I have.  I made sure it clicked on, and pulled on it to make sure it was on tight.  I have used 5 different bands from the one given in the box to 4 aftermarket ones.  They all do this. 

 

I have a week left to return this product for full credit, so what should I do?

I think you should contact Support about getting help or a replacement as it sounds like your connectors are faulty.  Some other people have experienced problems too and found that their straps worked with a new Charge 5.

 

It’s probably easiest to contact Support through Chat.  Tap on Help at the bottom of the screen, then Get Support then Chat.

 

 I hope you get it resolved quickly.
