The battery level indication on Charge 5 is so tiny it’s unreadable. Why? It used to be more visible.

Hello @Tootipi

Like many other users, I found the battery indicator on the Charge 5 display to be hard to read due to the tiny font. That's why so many of us were glad to see the % battery was re-instated in the Fitbit app.

Hi there, @Tootipi. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and the details provided in your post. Every feedback shared in the Community Forums is appreciated and passed along to evaluate our procedures and enhance your Fitbit experience, and yours won't be the exception. As @RiekoC has mentioned, you've recently brought back the battery % on the Fitbit app.

On a side note, please note you can always check the battery level on your Charge 5 by swiping up from the clock face. If you find that the battery indicator is not as it used to be, please restart your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

If you need anything else, let me know.

  • Hi Maria - yes I know I can swipe my watch face to ‘see’ the battery level, but unless I get a magnifying glass I can hardly see it. Not convenient to keep getting phone out to check the app
