Time and date are partially cut off on the screen Charge 5

The available options for the screen are very limited.  All I wanted was date and time, steps, and heart rate.  I found one that was close but it shows the data on a "slant" (I guess to look "modern/cool").  Only problem is it cuts off the bottom right edge of the time, and sometimes you have to guess what the last two digits are, depending on the number.  Are their any updates to available screens in the pipeline?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @Walkabout4729.

Thank you for sharing your feedback about the Charge 5.

If possible, could you please share a picture showing the problem you mentioned with the clock face that cuts off the bottom right edge of the time? In the meantime, it's always great to have more clock face options to choose from. If you haven't done so already, please consider voting for these ideas posted in the forums:

However, if you have a more specific idea for a clock face, I would recommend that you post this in the Feature Suggestion board of the Community, since this section is regularly monitored by the team of developers. Make sure to post your idea including as many details as possible.

Thank you for all the feedback provided about the Charge 5.

I'll be around.

Unfortunately - that is what that clock is supposed to look like. It's the only clock that has all the info I want to see on the first screen, but the colors and design are horrendous. I regret preordering the charge 5. The clock face options ruin this device for me.

That is by design and several of the watch faces have this applied to them. I am not a a fan (opinion of a former corporate graphic artist - not that matters, LOL). Personally I just like the boring one called "target".

Thanks for the recommendation.  I reviewed "target" and I can get most of what I want on the first screen, then by tapping once I can get the rest.

Hello @Walkabout4729

Just to add another option, if you’re still looking.

I use the Runliner one.  It has the time, date and heart rate on the main screen and a line that kind of shows progress for the other stats. You just have to scroll up once to see the specific numbers.

I don’t particularly like the design or colors of any of the clock faces myself and would prefer a plain white one like the old Charge 4 ones if I could.  I voted for the Feature Suggestions.

Hi everyone, thank you for sharing these updates.

@Walkabout4729 I was able to confirm that this is by design with some of the clock faces available. You can see this with clock faces like: Slashed, Neoflip, Rise up and Cutout. But it'd be great to have a clock faces that shows all the information you mentioned earlier that shows the complete time and date and the same time. If you haven't done so already, you can post this idea in the Feature Suggestion board of the Community.

@Paulct @SunsetRunner @Wibby Thank you for sharing all your experience and feedback about the clock faces. I appreciate all the information that you've shared about the product and the team continues to work to improve the Fitbit experience.

Have a good day.
