Starting during the night my fitbit is off. It's now 1:34 PM, but it thinks it's 4:34 AM. Strange is that the times of last night's sleep recording are correct, but it didn't register heart rate during the night. This morning for 2 hours it registered the moves 250 steps per hour correctly, but now with the time suddenly being off it only gives a plausible total number of steps for the day, but not in the correct time slot. It's registering now, but 9 hours off.
Tried all the steps with manual sync (it syncs steps), disconnect and reconnect bluetooth, restart both fitbit and phone, connect to charging cable etc. Both phone and fitbit app say they are connected. No app update is available in the Play store. When I try to sync from the app settings screen, it starts, moves to 'synced' for 1-2 seconds, but then drops back to sync 9 hours ago. Which is exactly the hours the time is off. It keeps to the nine hours even as time passes (i.e. as time moves on actual real time and fitbit time move along with a stable 9 hour difference).

What's going on and how to fix?
Update: time zone had set itself to Pacific time, despite phone and fitbit app being set to use network time. Phone was correct, fitbit wasn't (weird when app syncs to phone). Manually selected time zone and it works properly again. Only some screwy data during the confusion phase.
