Time is wrong Charge 5

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

It's 1115 AM in Arizona. We're on MDT, clocks the same as California.

My Charge 5 says it's 615 PM on the same day.

Checked my account, it is on Arizona MDT time.

I restarted my FitBit - no change

I plugged it into the charger - no change

Any other ideas on how to fix this ASAP?

Hi, I appreciate all the details that you've provided about this inconvenience with your Charge 5 and the troubleshooting steps that you already tried, @moriahpulver.

In addition to the restart procedure that you already tried, please try the following steps as well:

  • Try selecting a different time zone in the app
  • Sync your device
  • Go back to your preferred time zone again (for Arizona)
  • Sync your device again to save the changes
  • Make to turn off the Automatic time zone option as well, you can find more information in this article

Hope this helps, I'll be around.

Thank you for this info. I will keep it in mind if this happens again.

Late last night, I noticed that my FitBit wasn't syncing. It does this sometimes...so I turned off BluTooth and turned it back on. Then I force quit the app. When I reopened the app, I felt a vibration on my wrist...voila! the time had corrected itself!
