Total lack of support from fitbit

Contacted Fitbit support online & on the phone 24 hours ago with a Charge 5 that is under warranty and eats a 100% battery in less than an hour. So far no one  has reached out to offer any solution or service options. It would seem that Fitbit doesn’t want to retain its customers. This is likely the last Fitbit  I will ever own.

Hi @SunsetRunner  get back with them and let them know.

when there is someone available, chat is an option. Phone or Twitter works well, too.

Agreed that Fitbit support is not good quality. It’s there but the responses are so frustrating it’s not good.

I, also, am extremely upset with the lack of support from FitBit.  A Charge 5 shouldn't completely die in 2 months.  This is also the last FitBit I will own.  The chat people who worked with me were as helpful as FitBit "protocol" allowed them to be, however protocol won't solve my problem with a blown out device.  I am leaving on an extended vacation in 5 days.  The watch died just in time for this.  I need a smart watch due to my health issues.  Fitbit would not consider sending a new device to me via fedex or any other way without first receiving my first watch.  To retain a customer (since 2014) you would think they might care to do something outside protocol.  But no, they will not.  I will send in the old watch, buy a new Samsung watch, and when I return in October and the stupid new fitbit is in the stacked up mail on the counter, I will give it to someone I don't particularly like.  They can deal with the crummy customer service and the poor build of the current fitbit devices.
