Touch pad and swiping no longer working Charge 5

My Fitbit has only been in use for two weeks. I can no longer get the display to change from the clock. Swiping and tapping produce nothing. I recharged the watch right before this happened,  From the rest of the forum, posts it seems like this is just par for the course.  Anyone have any luck with returns?

I appreciate the information that you've provided about this issue you're experiencing with the Charge 5. 

Before considering other options, please make sure to complete the three pulse restart method described here (with the charging cable). In addition, you can also try changing to a different clock face to see if you continue to have the same problem. 

However, if you already tried the steps mentioned earlier or you'd like to inquiry about a return process, I recommend that you get in touch with the Customer Support team for further assistance with this. They will let you know how to proceed.
