Will Fitbit ever add rowing machine into the exercise app?

I have no idea, but in the meantime you could choose Workout from the exercise shortcuts and then relabel it afterwards in the App on your phone by choosing Categorize Activity.

It’s not very elegant but it’s a workaround.  I do that with my studio classes at the gym.  It auto recognizes an ‘Aerobic Activity’ and I rename it later.

I hope that helps a bit.

@Trawojand welcome to the Help forum.  Users have been asking for a rowing shortcut for a long time.  This Feature Suggestion has it marked as Not Currently Planned.  @Wibby's suggestion to use the Workout shortcut in the exercise app is the way to go to make sure you get your start/stop times.  From time to time, users will say that SmartTrack is inconsistent, but rowing has the type of movement that should be recognized as Aerobic Activity.
