Using Charge 5 by same person under 2 ID's

I have a Family Fitbit account with toddlers so I can't migrate to Google yet.  After chatting with Fitbit rep, it was suggested I open a new account on Google with a different email address. I did that, but when I sync, my numbers for Google are not the same as on Fitbit and my Charge 5.  What am I doing wrong?
