Visa not connecting to Fitbit Pay

I recently tried to connect my visa debit card to Fitbit pay, but when I put in all of my info, it gave me an error message saying “missing required Visa asset data” I did check if my bank is in the list, and it is.

Thank you for the information that you've provided about the issue you're experiencing with your Charge 5. 

Before considering other options, please complete the steps listed here below:

  1. Make sure you have contacted your bank for more information regarding specific financial transactions or if there are any restrictions/limitations with your credit card.
  2. Check that your credit card information is correct in the Wallet section of the Fitbit app.
  3. If you're still getting the same error message, try logging out of the Fitbit app, then restarting your phone and logging back in to finish setting up your credit card.

Oh sorry, I forgot to mention it is a debit card

Same issue here. Tried all the solutions you listed but still acting up. Here’s a screenshot if you need it.

Thank you for sharing all this information about the issue you're experiencing with Fitbit Pay. 

If you're still not able to add your card, please try the following: 

  • Log out from the app.
  • Clear Cache for the Fitbit app on your phone's settings (Settings > Apps > Fitbit app > Storage > Clear cache)
  • Restart your phone. 
  • Log back in to check if you're able to see your information. 
  • Try to set up your Charge 5 as a new device in your account if you're still having the same problem.
  • Make sure the Fitbit app and your phone's operating system are updated to the latest version available.
