Hi,
Wanted to get some idea on Fitbit warranty service in India. I bought a fitbit charge 5 at a premium cost but it died with continuous RED light at the back within 5 months. After a thorough R & D with customer support, I was advised to raise a request with Case ID 52301758 in April 2024. Got to know that Fitbit devices can't be repaired, and I will get a replacement. Initially, I got the update that there is no warehouse for over 2 months and to wait for replacement. After repeated follow-up; In June I was told I will be refunded and provided account details, bill and all details. Again, when I contacted, the case is in same state, No update. Whenever, I contact customer care, they create a new ID and ask me to wait. Really wanted to know if anyone ever got anything out of this warranty or it is really like No warranty. Don't want to waste time running after false warranty. But, never knew fitbit service is like this. I think their warranty is not valid in India as I see immediate support in other countries. May be we should not buy fitbit and google watches in India. Too costly for this kind of support and service.

I am also in a similar situation. Raised a ticket in May 2024. Initially Fitbit support said they will replace and they were establishing a new warehouse in India. Come July i was asked to provide account details, which i did promptly. Case no update though 6 weeks have passed. is this some kind of a scam? I have never been treated by Fitbit like this before.

Similar situation. I have raised multiple cases through the chat option in customer support recently. Each time I chat a new case gets created, and I refer to my past cases. Every time they say my cases is escalated to higher / special team and I will get email, but nothing ever comes. Just standard responses repeated again and again.
My 1 year warranty ends by 27 Aug. Issue started happening around a month back. No backlight led, no heart rate etc.
This is really a scam. They cannot put such warranty clauses and fail to honor them completely.
However the case id I get is something like this, when I chat with support :9-6659000037081
Is there any other way to raise a ticket other than the chat option within fitbit support page?

I got a mail again saying that refund will be processed. But hopes are really low after follow-up for 5-6 months and so many such mails from Fitbit. I will update if I really get a refund. I have highlighted in X portal also but no response. Google should value their market and customers otherwise the downfall will continue.
