What do the blue to yellow moving upwards lines indicate? They are on al the state screens.

Hi, thanks for sharing your inquiry about the Charge 5 and the display, @Colorado.
The lines on different clock faces will usually indicate the progress towards a specific goal, like steps, calories, distance, maximum heart rate.
Could you please confirm what is the clock face option that you're currently using? Just to make sure that I can see the exact same thing that you're seeing on your screen.
I'll be around.

Not sure the name the clock face but it's the one preprogrammed right out of the box. I don't remember setting goals for anything other than steps. Looks like scrolling displays steps, heart rate, distance, calories burned but I can't figure out what the 5th one might be. Right now it's 2 digits with three green arrows pointing up. Do you know what that is measuring? What is the significance of the colors? Also, I only set a goal for steps so what is it measuring the others against? Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for it. Thank you for any insights!

@Colorado Thank you for your reply and for sharing your inquiries.
The clock face that comes with the device by default is the Continuum clock face. The colors on the clock face usually don't mean something specific, but you may see a different color the closer you get to your goals (for steps, calories, maximum heart rate, distance, active zone minutes). Keep in mind that if you don't set any specific goal, the device will set your goal automatically to 10,000 steps by default. You can see how other goals are calculated or how to change them in this article, and you can find other important information on how your activity is tracked here.
Regarding the icon you mentioned, the three arrows pointing up would be for Active Zone Minutes. You can also check the stats included with each clock face when you go to the Fitbit app and you see the description available for each clock face option.
@Gina1964 Welcome to the Community forums. Thanks for sharing that you'll be receiving a replacement unit due to this inconvenience with the display. Let me know if you continue to experience any problem.
See you around.
