Just switched from Apple Watch to Charge 5 but was shocked to find there isn’t a weather app!!!! I exercise and play sports outside. The weather is a key part of an outdoor exercise / sports experience. I need to know what to expect. Being unprepared is not an option. Weather is a critical factor in outdoor sports and exercise. You need to plan.Knowing the weather is critically important to a good and healthy and safe work out / sports day on the field. A weather app seems like a no-brainer, key feature for an exercise / sports tracker. I’m hoping it will be added soon. Otherwise I’ll be ditching this Charge 5 and go back to my Apple Watch.

Welcome to the Fitbit community, @Elizjaye!
Sad to hear about your first impressions with Fitbit. As you can rely on Fitbit's return policy, I'd suggest to have a closer look at Versa 3 and Versa 4 instead of Charge 5. Be aware though that Versa 4 is missing music control and the option for a few apps in comparison to Versa 4 while Versa 4 being the more sleek looking device that's offering step-by-step navigation through google maps on your phone and Google Wallet.

as, @Talahthas mentioned, the charge 5 does not have a weather app because of its lack of Wi-Fi or cellular connection.
