Hi! I dont understand why it is two different caloriesmeters (🍽️ and :fire:)  on the Fitbit app. I have tried too read about it but yet i dont understand. Earlier I have used Lifesum to count calories but now im all confused. I have asked so many in My family for help but they dont understand what I dont understand.

I understand that the 🍽️ are for eating and :fire: are for burning. But WHY is it two different, how can it help me and wich One should I use too count My calories if I do it without the app?

Can someone please explaine too me, so pedagogically as possible? Thanks.

(Im sorry for My bad English, i hope you can understand me 😂

Hello @Hello1337

The icon that looks like a flame refers to the calories burned and the plate icon is calories eaten. “Calories in” refers to the calories you get from the foods you eat, while “calories out” is the number of calories you burn. There are three main bodily processes that burn calories: Basic metabolism. Your body uses most of the calories you get from food to sustain basic functions, such as your heartbeat.

weight loss is a matter of following a simple formula: Calories In - Calories Out. A pound of weight represents about 3500 calories. Eat 3500 calories less than you burn in a period of time, and you'll lose about a pound of weight. Eat 500 calories a day less than you burn, and you'll lose a pound of weight in a week. (500 * 7 = 3500)

😃Hopefully this answers your question. Please let me know (😉 and your English was perfect by the way)
