When is the daily readiness coming out? Charge 5

When will all the promised features be released? It wasn’t clear to me that I’m buying an incomplete product.

Is it not there yet? Weird, because Fitbit advertises Daily Readiness as if it's already available (or at least since 20th October).

In comments, Fitbit tells to make sure you have latest version of app and Premium.

I thought so too, but it’s been “coming soon” since I got the device. I feel a little deceived by marketing but it all would be fine if we just got some roadmap and an expected release date instead of ‘soon’, ‘sometime in Q4’

I agree. I’m so disappointed with having to wait weeks now, with no update on the timing of the release and no roadmap of development.
I am wondering why? One of the worlds largest most profitable technology corporations and no communication? I do see that Fitbit watches are now on the Google website.
I would like Google to release a media statement to update people who have purchased any products that have features that are coming soon to explain the holdup and the reason why consumers can continue to be confident about there purchase.

Hi, thank you for all the replies, and welcome to the new users in the Community, @Wadefray @wbadams10000 @Rhinemohr @ChrisC1969

As you already mentioned, the Daily Readiness Score is one of the features that will be coming soon for the Charge 5 with a future firmware update. Fitbit announced this product including the ECG option, so they're excited to implement this soon. However, we can't provide a specific date, so I recommend that you keep an eye on the app to look for future firmware updates and make sure to sync regularly as well.

In regards to the ECG feature, this will be implemented sometime in November 2021. Here you can check the list of countries where this feature will be available soon: Heart Rhythm Assessment with Fitbit ECG app

Thank you again for all the feedback provided.

Have a good day.

Excellent article!!! What I don't really understand about the whole "daily readiness" thing is how it will impact users daily lives in reality. Unless someone is an elite athlete who has the luxury of adjusting their activities and schedules around their own personal needs, don't the rest of us have to plan and execute things like workouts, runs, etc., around the rest of our work/family/personal commitments and schedules? Would a low readiness score actually mean that someone would abandon something like a weekly running schedule, a weekend ski outing, a fitness class, etc etc...or is it just another "fitness toy"? Is it truly going to be something worth the extra cost of a premium subscription, or is it something that becomes irrelevant once the initial curiosity has passed?

I got the Readiness Score tile on my dashboard today.  "Coming soon" is finally here.

I do not know the answer to your question yet. What I can tell you is that Garmin has a very similar measurements, maybe is it worth for you to look at the Garmin forum and users feedback to have some data.

Available now.

Thanks for the update. The features have now arrived. My apologies I was getting impatient and being very demanding.

I see the DailyReadiness tile on my phone, tap it and it does nothing. Why? I have premium so what is the problem?

If the ECG app isn't available by the end of November the watch goes back to the place of purchase for a full refund.

I have mentioned before I hate this watch.

Good point @nihahi. It will be interesting to see how useful this really is for users, and if it's even remotely accurate at all. I think most of us can understand our bodies pretty well and how we feel on a particular day. So would we ignore that to instead go by what a watch is telling us? Wake up feeling fatigued, but that watch says I'm ready for a full on training session. As I say, it will be interesting to see how this goes.

@N8teGee this is exactly one of the reason why I stopped checking my morning readiness with HRVElite. In the end, I know better how I feel than any algorithm can tell me. Most of times it was correct but then I just looked at it and only one thought crossed my mind "no sh*t Sherlock" 🤣 I remember, one time EliteHRV advised me to take it easy and best if I sat in the sofa and don't move my finger. In reality, I was feeling rested like never, woke up early without alarm so decided to ignore advice. On that day, I made my PB for 10k 😁 Such features may be helpful if users know what they mean and how to use it. It's pretty much the same for Garmin's body battery feature. I take a look at it and then go on with my day. Furthermore, I have the same opinion about sleep tracking.

Hi everyone, that's great news! Thank you for confirming that you've received the Daily Readiness feature, it seems they did release it with this last firmware update (1.149.11).

@nihahi I think it depends on how we are using the device to track our daily activity, as with any other feature, it will be different for every user. Some people love to receive daily recommendations, and others prefer other activities or their known routine. Let us know about your experience with the feature!

@SunsetRunner Thank you for the feedback, keep in mind that you will need to have at least 4 days and 4 nights of data in order to see any information displayed about Daily Readiness on the Fitbit app, since this feature was just released, you won't see any information at the beginning. You also need to wear your device at least 14 hours per day, including during sleep. You can find other important details about this in this article.

Thank you for the update, @wbadams10000!

Have a great day.
