Which Fitbit to get (after charge 5 died)

I'm unhappy that my Charge 5 died (doesn't read HR) 13 months after purchase, with no more warranty protection.

But after researching Garmin and Oura, I would consider buying another Fitbit. Mostly because sleep tracking was pretty good, and the price is low.

So, is there a Fitbit device you would recommend, other than the charge 5, with decent sleep and activity tracking?

Other budget options also welcome, thanks.

Hi there @nanami04, welcome to the Fitbit Community.

It is nice to see you are interesting in getting a new Fitbit device.

Please keep in mind that all of our Fitbit devices can track your sleep in addition to a variety of other features. If you are not sure what to buy, I recommend you take this test, which will help you identify the choice that best meets your needs.

Regardless of your decision, it may be worth contacting Fitbit support even if your device is out of warranty.  If troubleshooting doesn't resolve the issue, you may get a discount offer off a new device.

On your underlying question, my Fitbit 5 just started acting up (freeze with black screen, no response or tracking until it was plugged into a charger) and I am getting a Fitbit Charge 6 as the closest replacement.  Hopefully it ends up being more reliable than the Charge 5.  I find it interesting that so many Fitbit 5's seem to be failing or glitching after the latest Fitbit app update and right as the Charge 6 launched.
