Hi, welcome to the Community forums, @Chooki.
Thank you for your inquiry about tracking the rowing activity on Charge 5.
As you mentioned earlier, this exercise is not available as a shortcut on the device yet, but for any workout that is not present on this list available in this article, you can use the "Workout" option instead.
In addition, I recommend that you vote for this idea in the Feature Suggestion board of the Community, since this section is regularly monitored by the team of developers: Rowing/Stationary Rowing Machine Exercise Shortcut.
Have a great day.

Hi, @Chooki , although Rowing machine is not available as a shortcut on the Charge 5, it is available in the Fitbit database, so you can track your rowing activity.
To do this, please track your session of the rowing machine as a “workout”. The workout shortcut is specially designed so that you can later “categorize” this activity using a much wider range of exercises. (You can even create custom exercises if you want, so that you can track almost anything - but in this case Fitbit has done the work for you.)
When you start your rowing activity open your exercise app on your Charge 5 and choose “workout”. Start, pause and end your activity as usual and then sync your Fitbit.
Once your Fitbit is synced go to your “workout” activity in the app and if you are using iOS choose “categorize exercise”. On the next screen you will see a search box. Begin typing “r - o - w” and you will see Rowing Machine pop up in the box. Select it, and you are done!
On Android almost the same thing, except you choose edit/ pencil icon.
Use this technique to categorize many activities that are in the Fitbit database but not preloaded on to the Charge 5.
Like most non step based activities you will not get distance recorded. (The Fitbit doesn’t really know how to calculate this.)
I hope this helps!

Hi, @OlGreg , to make your vote count for this suggestion you will need to follow the link DavideFitbit shared.
But you can also follow the technique that I have recommended above to “categorize” your exercise.
