Why can't I get 6 months of premium free with purchase of second Charge 5?

Hello, about 10 months ago I got a new Charge 5 for Christmas. It died in about 6 months so I purchased a new one. It comes with 6 months of premium for free. But when I went to sign up it said I was not eligible for free trial. How do I get the 6 months free since I purchased a new Charge 5? Thanks, Mark
