My old charge 3 had a clock face called Stats Heavy. It was simple, and very usable, showing almost everything you might care about. The only missing stat is zones, I suppose, but that is inferable from the heart rate.
The charge 5 however, does not have this clock face. The closest thing it has is "target", every other clock face seems like they told a designer to make a useless clock face that looks flashy, so I will ignore those. The default "target" screen is useless, requiring you to tap or swipe through multiple screens to see everything, with an annoying animation on the lines below the text, causing the device to feel slower and laggier.
The alternate screen however, shows multiple stats, and is reasonably close. However, the date is inexplicably split onto two lines, taking up valuable screen space.
The design of this secondary screen makes no real sense though. How often do you need to see the date, and not the time? Why is the date split onto two lines?, if it was on one line, it could fit more information onto the display. Also, the device will switch back to the default target screen after a few minutes. Why?
Please rectify this. I would do it myself, but the sdk doesn't support custom clock faces for trackers, which is another annoyance. I'd love to create my own face fixing these problems, but apparently I cannot with my $130 device and I'm locked into the defaults.
Don't respond to this with a "please vote on this suggestion" message, just fix it. I could literally re-create the stats heavy layout in an hour or two, and would right now, on a friday evening, if I was allowed to. Don't tell me there is no time or that it has to be scheduled, you guys are the reason this face no longer exists, and why I cannot create it myself, so it is your responsibility. I can pretty much guarantee your developers sit in enough hours of meetings a week where instead one of them could re-implement this clock face. I spent over a hundred dollars on this device and it cannot even do what the previous version did. Just fix it.

I just got my charge 5 today. And loved the Stas heavy clock on my charge 4. The target clock was the closest I could find…. You still have to tap thru to see the data. Slashed face might also be similar
