Why debit card details to be saved in the fitbit app?

To avail the free trail version of Fitbit with advanced features, we need to save the credit or debit card details including CVV number! It's not the right practice.

Hi, @shenoyyogish , actually this is very common practice across many companies (especially internet ones) that offer a free trial period.  You can cancel your trial at any time before the trial ends and your card will not be charged.  However, if you do not cancel then they have your card so that you can have uninterrupted service - and, of course, so they can get paid!

The question here is entering the CVV and saving it on your website is not
a legal practice. CVV of my credit or debit card is a confidential
information. You can not ask a customer to save this information.
