Why does charge 4 have altimetet

Why does the charge 4 have an altimeter but the new charge 5 does not?

I thought the new charge 5 would have what the charge 4 had plus more!  You should advertise the lack of this feature!  I wouldn't have purchased it if I had known.

Hi @Sewlee  the sales information on the Charge 5 does not mention counting flights of stairs and the manual doesn't list it either. It's a good idea to always check the information before purchasing. The decision was made by Fitbit and there's no way we'll know why they decided to eliminate the altimeter in the Charge 5.
